This course is designed for those wanting to better understand what stalking and harassment is and the impact that it has. 75% of cases of stalking and harassment are related to domestic abuse. Other cases are where the perpetrator is either unknown to the victim or known in only a limited capacity. Effectively supporting victims of stalking and harassment is complex and a focus on keeping them safe both psychologically and physically is incredibly important.
The typologies of perpetrators are included in this training to gain a better insight into the intentions of the stalker and what the risks are that they pose.
The course uses a combination of written resources, video resources, and group work. All learners are provided with a handbook and certificate at the end of the course.
