Safer caring is the need to sensibly balance risks with gains for a young person’s development. We need to manage vulnerability and expose young people to normal experiences. Safer caring is about knowing the young person’s history and monitoring how they are developing.
This course will look at how you can become “risk-sensible” rather than “risk-averse” and make better, common sense judgements.
